Mission Strategy
Word In Deed Evangelism Ministries [WIDE Ministries] is a Christian-based organization whose strategy is three-fold:
1. WIDE Ministries seeks to create a vision for helping people with both physical and spiritual needs. While hosting Mexico mission trips and camp-outs, members of each group are asked to focus on the needs of the Mexican people, as well as positive interaction with their fellow team members. Such things as communication, listening skills, affirmations, and teamwork are all part of these exciting adventures.
2. WIDE Ministries brings a number of resources together to meet a variety of humanitarian needs. Some of these resources are the time and skills of individuals, groups, or families who come on a mission trip. It involves the participation of the Mexican people, along with local officials who support the cause. And finally, it includes the financial gifts and donations of individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations that share this vision.
Some construction projects are repairing roofs, building shelters or furniture, plus assembling and installing latrines. At times we prepare and plant gardens, as well as assist with food distributions and medical needs.
3. WIDE Ministries utilizes Bible teachings, tapes, literature, personal relationships, and the local churches to promote biblical principles in individuals, families, and the community.
